New York University’s Inter-Residence Hall Council often will recognize individuals for their hard work and dedication to the organization. This page details that recognition.
The IRHC Pin
The IRHC Pin was created in the 2006-2007 academic year to serve as a way for the president and the advisors to recognize students, faculty, and staff for their outstanding commitment to student leadership, hall councils and IRHC. Up to 8 pins are awarded per year, four by the president and four by the advisors. The IRHC Pin is the highest honor the IRHC can bestow. Incoming IRHC Presidents and advisors receive an IRHC Pin as a part of their induction.

Each year IRHC inducts up to two alumni into the Hall of Fame during the Annual Alumni Reception in December. The Alumni Hall of Fame inductees are also recognized on a plaque in the IRHC office.
